Wally's Chocolate Pie

Crust
2 each egg white
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon Cream of tartar
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup pecans -- finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Filling
6 ounces German sweet chocolate -- melted
1 Tablespoon brandy
3 tablespoons water
1 cup cream

Meringue Crust
Sift sugar with cream of tartar and salt. Beat egg whites until stiff but not dry. Slowly add sugar mixture, beating until merigue makes stiff, glossy peaks.Add vanilla and fold in the pecans Press into a well greased 8 inch pie pan. Bake in 300 degF oven for 50-55 minutes. Cool thoroughly before adding the filling.

Filling (Chocolate Mousse)
Beat cream until it starts to peak then add remaining ingredients. Spread into crust. Chill until ready to serve.
